The Painting
of the Day number 02 " red Marrakesh "
evoked the dynamic aspect of Marrakesh,
with the sounds, the movements, the strong odors...
This painting evokes the other aspect : the protected and secret
aspect.
The shadow worn by a leaf of banana tree caresses a wall painted
in cobalt blue.
We are in the Sultan's garden.
Space and time belong to us. The excitement stayed outside.
In here the breath is ample and full.
It is the sensual rest.

The walk inside the
painting will lead us to the junction point
between the shadow and the light,
then in the monochrome space where the glance gets lost,
where the various reference becomes entirely subjective.
A stroll in the Majorelle's garden
( Marrakesh, Morocco ) gave me
the idea of this painting.
